I'm finishing up a degree in general biology. I honestly love biology and study it for fun even in my free time. I want to stay in the field and do this for a career, but I know I can't really do much with just a bachelor's. I'm trying to decide whether to go to grad school for something like ecology/wildlife biology or something more molecular. I have done both and like lab work okay, but I really get a thrill out of field work and working with animals beyond lab rodents. I think something in ecology or wildlife biology would suit me best, but I'm unsure of what the job outlook looks like or what it pays. I've looked that information up on google, but statistics only tell so much. I'm hoping some people here can give me some personal stories and advice. Which would be a better career path? Wildlife? or Molecular?
