Predictions?

Llano
Yet another in a long string of "rust busters" for Ryan Hall.
Llano - 1:05:15
Abdi - 1:05:30
Hall - 1:07:00
No he isn't. He might pretend to race, but he isn't.
Hall likes back cock
Costa Rica? Sounds more like vacation. Why isn't hall racing in philly?
Hall- 1:04:15
Abdi- 1:03:45
Llano- 1:03:30
Sara Hall- 1:11:30
I guess Hall exceeded my expectations, but this does not strike me as a path to the 2016 Olympics. (I think I also disagree with competitor.com about what constitutes a "winning big")
Llano - 1:05:00
Hall - 1:06:13
Abdi - 1:08:08

I'd say spanking 2 of the 3 Olympic Marathoners from the 2012 team by over a minute (in the half) is a pretty big win for someone like Llano.
Headline should read Ryan Hall to pace Sara Hall this weekend.

I am a bit disappointed. I expected him to use this as a Marathon paced tempo run (=1:02), looks like he had other plans.
Well at least he didn't have to take a shower after this.
No need to be disappointed. We all blow our marathon pace tempo runs from time to time.Ryan probably had a hard time staying at the planned 5:15/mile and went through the finish line faster than the anticipated 1:08:55.It takes practice.

Agreed, as a 2:04 marathoner, a 1:02 should have felt pretty easy for him. I guess he decided to make this a recovery run instead.

According to the McMillan calculator, based on his 2:04, this was more in line with his normal LR or easy run pace.
Recovery pace would be a couple of minutes slower.
According to the McMillan calculator, Hall's

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
Please post your resume! Tough guy!
