They keep winning, year after year, with almost completely different players, including a lot of cast offs. It is simply amazing.
And don't give me spygate crap. That was years ago and clearly they still keep winning

Spurs
They haven't won a title in a decade. They couldn't win without a kicker. None of the SB wins werd dominate (more lucky).
Sorry but Spygate still matters. Their owner is a fat dip who startsx banging models beford his wife was dead of cancer.
Bilicheat is still cheating. Not to mention they have the Refs in thier pocket.
Agreed. Winning three Superbowls in four years was pure luck.
SF Giants

You're welcome!
I agree with the OP. The Patriots have dominated in the regular season and post season standings for a ridiculous length of time. More so than other other professional sports team when comparing winning percentages.
Comparing the Patriots’ total record under Belichick before Spygate broke (including the offending Sept. 9, 2007, game against the Jets) to their record after:
While the Patriots were taping opposing signals, they won 69.3 percent of their 127 games (including the playoffs), but since they ostensibly quit the practice, their winning percentage has been even higher — 75.6 percent — in 123 games. At a glance, it seems rule-bending didn’t add much of note to the Patriots’ chances of winning.

They couldn't win without a kicker. That is brilliant commentary.
Just so I'm sure, what teams can win without a kicker?
As an Eagles fan, of course I hate the Patriots. And sure, a little part of me wants to blame spygate, but Andy Reid and McNabb blew that game.
In any case, I do agree to an extent.
Think about how mind-blowingly successful they've been:
In EVERY season 2003-Now, they've won at least 10 games. Four of those were 14+ win seasons, and one of which (as we all remember) was a 16-0 season.
Even before that streak, they were 9-7 in 2002 and 11-5 (plus the superbowl win) in 2001.
Even since spygate, this has been one of the greatest displays of extended success and dominance in professional sport. ESPECIALLY in the NFL. It's so hard to keep a team good for so long with the revolving door of players caused by injuries. I mean, the average career of an NFL running back is about two years. They just get eaten up.
Anyways, in this generation, absolutely. But all-time, I think the banner goes to (and it pains me to say this *sigh*) the 1956-1969 Celtics.
I think you and the OP have bellichick and kraft's jizz dribbling from your maws.
He's right though. Their average superbowl win was 3 pts. They got beat by 2 wild card teams.
I'm in the "hate them" camp, but they've been consistently good.
I don't care about SpyGate. Non-issue.
I just don't like Belichick and I hope the Patriots lose every game, but they win consistently.

What years consist of your generation? State that, and then I'll be able to contribute to your post properly. Until then, well, your thread is DEAD.

Let's assume the 21st century.

I'm with this guy.
They haven't won a title in 10 years. Kill yourself.
Last time they won a title no one knew who Barack Obama was (aw, the good times.)
Since the last time the Pats won a title the Spurs have won 3. Heat have won 3, The SF Giants have won 3 and the Chicago White Sox even won 1. The LA Kings of hockey won 2. The Seattle Seahawks have been to the Superbowl TWICE, with two completely different rosters and coaching staffs.
The Arizona Cardinals have come closer to winning a Superbowl than the Pats in that time.
Two of the Pats titles over 10 years ago were narrow escapes, one was a blatant cheat.
Wrap your head around this. The NBA Atlanta Hawks have made more consecutive playoff appearances than the Pats currently.
The Pats have a losing record in the playoffs since their last SB win
Since 1998 the Spurs have 50 games each season and been to the playoffs every year and have won 5 NBA championships. No team is close to that consistency.
You're comparing secondary sports leagues to the NFL. Try again.

The Patriots are definitely good. However, the three Super Bowls they won were by 3-points each and they only won because they cheated and illegally videotaped the practices in the "spygate crap" you mentioned...
Once the Patriots stopped illegally videotaping other teams, they stopped winning Super Bowls...

Are you seriously comparing making the playoffs in the NBA to making the playoffs in the NFL?? Making the playoffs in the NBA is an absolute joke. Teams actually tank and try NOT to make the playoffs because of the league's screwed up draft system. Wining consistently in the NFL is much harder and much more impressive.

You have no idea what "Sypgate" even refers to if you think they videotaped practices.
New England had a camera in plain sight on the sideline. They were filming defensive signals. Something, by the way, that every team still does. They weren't spying on anyone.
