Running kiawah island marathon December 13. Obviously I have a goal time, but what do you think I'm capable of?? Running 45-55 miles per week for past 8 weeks. 10-12 hours/week base of triathlon training for many (8?) months before that (30-35 miles running). This will be my second marathon.
Recent workouts past 8 weeks:
-Weekly 10 mile: @ 6:45/mile
-weekly tempo: 4-7 miles @ 6:30-6:40/mile
-long runs last 5 weeks: 15 miles @ 6:59, 15 miles @ 7:01, 16 miles @ 6:59, 18 miles @ 7:00, 20 miles @ 6:52
- 5k race 5 weeks ago: 17:40
Long runs are comfortable pace first half, and moderate pace second half. Tired by the end, but always feel I could keep going, even the 20 miler.
