Wintertime is here and it's almost below zero where I live already.
Split shorts are great in the summer/fall but now things are a bit nippy for that.
What's the best running half tight? Nike Filament? Asics PR? What are some other ones?
My second question would be how do you size them? I'm wondering if you'd want to go a size up so they wouldn't ride up the legs or do you stick with your normal size?

I have pair of Brook's Infiniti Short Tight and Nike Filament and I would say the Brook's is both thicker and more comfortable.
Size them how you normally would. The length of the half tight doesn't differ too much from size to size so finding the most comfortable waist size is more important.

The best running half tights currently in the U.S. are the red and green plaid ones that only Carnegie Mellon runners own. If you don't go there, sorry dude, you're outta luck.
I personally wear the Nike filament shorts in practice/races and love them almost more than the shorter shorts. Sizing is all about preference on if you want them to be tight or not too tight.
