There is no such thing as "the best shoe". What shoe works best for you is 100% individual.
This thread is pointless, because all you´ll get is people naming their favorite shoe, and that won´t help at all.
Pegasus or Glide Boost. They aren't particularly cost-comparable, but in a miles/dollar sense, they are relatively equal.
obviously no best shoe
but the new boston boost is outstanding - I look forward to putting them on every day - I threw out my usual rotation.
The Adidas Energy Boost and Glide Boost get my vote. They are both durable and then they are soft but responsive. Worth every penny!
brooks ghost 6s are fantastic. Don't know how the 7s are yet.
If you are running 140 miles a week, rotate 3 or 4 different
brands that work for you.
I like the Newton Gravity and Distance, the Nike Lunaracer, and the Saucony Kinvara (but it's not very durable).
I like Saucony A6 & New Balance 1400 & Mizuno Wave Universe. I also find that mixing up my shoes is a good idea for keeping calves / feet out of trouble.
Try the Skechers GoRun Ultra. Only $80.00.
