Have any other teams in history matched this type of performance? No other teams in the entire country crack the top 9 at the conference meet? D2 and D3 examples allowed, but looking for D1. Iona also had 1-8 in 2000. Not an Iona fan, just wondering.

Wisconsin in '05 had 8 of the top 9. Which is pretty impressive considering they're a legitimate conference.
Impressive by Iona. Georgetown women had 7 of the top 9 yesterday and they held out their #4 runner. This is in a conference with 4 out of the last 5 women's ncaa champion.

Both the Wisconsin and Georgetown feats seem more impressive, still the purity of a clean 9 runner sweep is cool. I'm surprised this hasn't happened more often, especially in the 70s.
Not a conference meet but didn't Adams state perfect score the national championships one year?
GoRun is correct, Adams state went a perfect 1-5 at Nationals in 1992, granted the winning time 32:24, was extremely slow. Anyone know if the slippery rock course was extremely tough back then?
