The focus of my training for the next six months will be Boston. I've been reading through Daniels' Running Formula and plan to use the 86-100 plan as a guide for my preparation (hoping to run low 2:30s). A lot of my training will be done in the worst winter elements of the upper Midwest. Looking through the plan, I don't see anything that will be too problematic for those conditions, but I'd love to hear some feedback and suggestions from people who've followed a similar plan in similar conditions.
Also wondering whether (and how) people have tweaked Daniels for preparing specifically for Boston.
