my own tables, i get M wr as
~ 26'32
however, seeing as M involves "wall" at ~ 20 miles, i doubt from a physiological point of view, any M'er who has lived has been better at M than 10k, if (s)he'd spent the season running 10k off only M training & nailed his/her best possible 10k in 3 or 4 attempts
i woud get get peak geoffrey/dennis/wilson/manny/patrick/sammy at lot better than 26'17wr if they'd run rested/good-paced to 1/2-way 10ks at their M peak off just M training
i'm sceptical of rita-epo until B test is analysed & i see little reason for her to have taken epo for new york, which is not a wr course & she couda won with a slow-time, even moreso that she had already won WMM & new york was an unnecessary race
