He ran at NXN last year and was part of the Northport trio of sub 9:00 2 milers last year.
Nice work, USATF.

Thanks for sharing. This is a very well produced feature. Kind of wanted more and when it was over I couldn't believe it was almost 13 min. Felt like 5. I hope we see more of these in the future
He's my new favorite runner.
Hope to watch him excel in college in the years ahead!
what an amazing kid, I will be rooting for mikey to win xc nationals.
In the feature it shows tons of college letters and I remember reading there was something like 200 schools looking at him. I wonder if they just sent letters based only on his times or if they're truly interested.
There is no doubt he has the skills, but could he really go to college?
What if this kid break the 4-min mile? How huge would that be? Kid inspires tons of families here in the NY area.
Never underestimate a child/adult who has autism. They may have a disability but anyone can overcome anything. Proof of this is in the Mikey Brannigan Story. Well done USATF. I thought the Allan Webb Story was fantastic and now this. Will there be more?

.
Yes. IMO this excellent young man will have many collegiate choices open to him (including the most prestigious ones) via the doctrine of extraordinary achievement in the face of adversity.
