I'm an Italian runner. I'm 22 and my Half Marathon PB at the moment is 1h20'47". I usually run 80-90 kms/week (=50/55 MPW), doing 5 runs (I think that the most important things for a non-professional runner is recovery, so I like resting the day before the hardest sessions).
My usual week looks like:
Mon - rest
Tue - long repeats (e.g. 8x1000; 4x2000; 3x3000...)
Wed - 14 km easy run
Thu - rest
Fri - 45' tempo run (total, including some easy run before and after, 1h15')
Sat - 10 km easy run + 4 km progression
Sun - 20-25 km long run
I did that time last month. Any advice about my training schedule? My dream is to do a sub-70' HM. Do you think it is possible with 5 runs a week?
