I'm new to running, but play sports and am generally fit. I'm trying to run a marathon in 3 weeks, and I'm trying to find a good training schedule. Yes, I know that's a bad idea, but I'd to find the schedule that makes it as little of a bad idea as possible.
I did a half marathon length run this weekend to see what that would be like, keeping track of time but with no goal in mind other than running at an easy pace, and ended up around 2:06. My best mile time is around 6:50.
I'd appreciate any suggestions you have on an (abbreviated) training schedule, as well as perhaps what sort of time I should be aiming for. Thanks!
