I was diagnosed (by bone scan) with a minor tibia fracture 3 weeks ago. I think it was due to the uneven surfaces of cross country (fracture was on inside edge above ankle). I do not have any pain walking around or prodding the area but sometimes after the elliptical or stair climber my whole calf will feel sore. It's only the fractured calf so I am wondering if I am doing more harm than good. The doctor told me to do any cross training that doesn't hurt. That advice is confusing for me because while working out it never "hurts" but the area feels off a few hours post workout nothing too bad just an awareness of the area. Any opinions?
