So for about a year I have had a clicking in my right knee that doesn't put a huge dent in my performance but is annoying nonetheless. There's never any real pain, just a wobbliness/tightness especially after long workouts or sitting down for long periods of time. I know that if you don't take care of tendonitis it will eventually wear down the cartilage in your knee which is something I'd like to avoid.
I've done all the strengthening exercises, have taken weeks off, gotten sports massages, iced, etc. and it keeps coming back.
It clicks only when I fully extend my leg and then lock and unlock my knee.
I'm 36 years old and run about 35-45 mpw.
Anyone have any rec's on how to get rid of this?
