No one thinks UNC is the only academically corrupt institution. This has been going on for years. Try to keep up.
It happens all over to varying degrees. Even a crappy mid major like wichita state lets their "big" athletes get away with crappy finals and tutors who do the homework. Same with loads of the JUCO's.

Whoesaid that? Doesn't change the almost two decades of the cheating at UNC. From the "Carolina Way" to "everyone does it" so who cares excuse. Funny to watch all the rationalizing going on.
They have cheated for 18 years - cheating not only any UNC student who did things the right way, but all their opponents. Big advantage to have been a UNC athlete - you don't have to attend class, study, take exams, or write papers.
Any team involved should vacate wins from that period, have post season bans, and loss of scholarships. Unfortunately, even if/when the wins are vacated, their opponents will not receive the win. Think of how many of their opponents were knocked out of tournaments while UNC was fielding ineligible players.
I am fairly sure that this kind of stuff never happens at my upstanding university. At Virginia Tech the administration does not tolerate misdeeds by the athletic department. The academic rigors imposed on our athletes are highly respected throughout the university community and will, most likely, be held up as a model for others to follow. The Hokie football alum have garnered the following honors: nobel prize in chemistry (1), Nobel prize in physics (2), Nobel Peace prize (1), President of General Motors, CFO Honda, and countless other world leading accomplishments. Hopefully the other universities can learn a lesson from the leaders of Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
In addition to these social/scientific honors Va Tech continues to occupy the top seat at the table of Collegiate Athletics.

As someone who earned extra money in grad school tutoring an NCAA top-10 basketball team and top-25 baseball team at a state university, I can assure you that not every school asks their tutors to write papers and do homework.
Don't get me wrong-- the school would happily pay me 10$ an hour to sit by someone 3-4 times a week to make sure that they did their homework, but they always did it. I was there to answer questions and work through other problems, but they always did the work and they always took the tests.

You were a tutor and went to grad school, yet you can't properly write a monetary amount like $10? I'm calling BS.
