Hi
I used to be runner, who was racing, but not any more last 5 years. So it means, I don't have running form, my speed is slow. I never have been in international racing level athlete. I am from Europe.
I am almost 40 yo. Thinking, shall I go now to start training again and start training in Mexico in high altitude? I have time and I can stay there 180 days without visa.
Am I going to get any benefits, if I go and train in Mexico? Or shall I stay in Europe?
Home, where I am living, is cold already. I am having tressful life and I am not motivated to run at all, when I am living at home. I am hoping to start let's say new life somewhere like in Spain or Mexico and start running again.
I don't have too much money, but I can travel to Mexico and train there, if I choose this way.
So, I am choosing, shall I travel to Spain, close to the sea in sea level and where is completely flat, and no mountains or hills at all. Or shall I travel to Mexico and potentially stay there about 2300m altitude and train on mountains.
I already found accommodations in both places and I found plane tickets too. So, now I just have to make a choice, where to go for all winter time and maybe even longer.
Please, help me to make decision and if I am thinking in completely wrong way, let me know this.
