Hey everyone I need some help. I am a junior division 1 800 meter runner. My first 2 years of college I always trained with the 400 meter group year round to keep my speed up and i have seen positive gains every season. This year I decided to train with the XC team to get a base to be able to sustain strength through rounds. I started off in August feeling great and got continuously better through the first 6 weeks but the past 4 weeks I have felt worse than those 1st 6 weeks. All cumulating up to my past 2 weeks where I feel like I have hit a wall and can't run workouts near as fast as I could in the beginning of the season. Is this a sign of being overtrained? Please I really need to know.
