Apparently you are a HR troll.
Isn't there a written warning for somebody's file you need to be reviewing?
Good luck doing well on medical school interviews if this is your mentality.
what's wrong with prepping to make yourself come across as more of a genuine person? And what if you are genuinely a nervous, ideal candidate? Would you reject that person for a less nervous but less qualified person you deemed more "genuine"?
A med student? Sorry kid, it's not your fault.

A mock interview before my first significant interview turned out to be a disaster, because I was natural and extremely articulate in the mock, got some advice there, and then from then on most of my interviews have been disasters of nerves and overthinking--often with far more preparation and knowledge about the job/institution than the successful candidates. But what you do need to do is to understand how to answer the typical questions in terms of your background>in academia, for instance, there will be various formulations of a teaching and a research question, and you need to know not to be thrown by the vagaries of the formulation (what always got me was "how would you teach ..." because it struck me as extreme vague and could refer to so many different elements of the course) and just say what your teaching style/methods/materials/philosophy are and what your research projects are.
