or is there someone else out there, already training, that can win the "title"?

Well, Jonah was above anything else we have seen...

Most people here don't know anythign about Rubgy and therefore wouldn't know who Jonah Lomu is.
We have to see Kimetto over the next two to three years to see how he fairs.
By the way, the World record is going down next year in Berlin. Kipsang or Geoffrey Mutai or even someone else will take it. Mark my words.
Thanks for your post, NativeSon.

Not at all.
By the way, the All blacks remind me of the Haka dance.
Great stuff!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BI851yJUQQwfor 2 years tops he will dominate, then it will be another random name
But if he's a white American you won't consider him a 'random name
When Jonah Lomu grows up he wishes he could be Rupeni Caucau.
kimetto is not an anomaly. He is a sick experiment - time will tell

When Rupeni Caucau grows up he wishes he could be Reinhold Messner.
"Reinhold Messner was the first man to climb all fourteen eight-thousanders in the world and without supplemental oxygen."

I posted a youtube link about him last week.

He is not the Jonah Lomu because a Springbok could beat Jonah but there are no Bokkies that can beat Kimetto.

I love Lamu and that is an insult...not because Kimetto isn't great, but because he'll never stay on top long enough to match Lamu.
Also, there are other guys not too far off his level and there was no one near what Jonah could do in his prime.
No he will not be the Jonah Lamu of the marathon. Nor will he be the Daniel Carter or Richie McCaw of the marathon. Maybe he's the Doug Howlett of the marathon.
