Yeah, but the batter still has to touch all the bases in order for the run to count, so, no, it is not the same thing really.Why are news segments about good sportsmanship such a hard issue for people?Sports are more than about winning, especially at the HS level and below.

The difference there is that she already hit the home run. That would be like carrying a runner who crossed the finish line, up to the awards stand. I'm all for that kind of sportsmanship, but if you collapse before the finish line because you went out too hard and died, I'm going to run right by you.
