Go to the track and do as many walking lounges as you can manage.
Repeat a few days a week until you can lounge the entire distance you'd like to compete in.
Remove vest.
Run WR.

The key is to gain citizenship in a small, unathletic nation and then train like mad in an event that is very unpopular there.
I am 19 years old and I have been running about everyday since I was 10. I've had this goal since I was 10 years old. Ive always loved running and they olympics and want to make it my life. my motivation is intrinsic.
Move to Puerto Rico, and get on the program, nudge, nudge,
wink, wink.
1) be genetically elite i.e. top 99.999999th percentile
2) do a lot of stupid, worthless training
3) run fast anyway because of #1

That about sums it up. Hit the A standard and score top 3 at the trials. If this information doesn't help, you should have chose better parents.

Run the steeplechase. It's usually the least competive U.S. Distance event. Or race walking
