I was reading you can use them before a race to super saturate your blood and have heard it can last for hours.. But was curious to how long it actually lasts and what kind of performance gains athletes see doing this before a race? Does anyone know i can't actually find any good definitive answers via googling.
what i've found so far, is that it definitely decreases lactate buildup marginally and definitely speeds up recovery and is a benefit to do before racing, but i'm curious to like if there is a % of performance gain it sees?
