For the past few xc races, i feel good during the first 2 miles and i run them consistently. However, right when i start going into the last mile, my forearms suddenly start feeling very sore and i can barely move them. My legs feel fine but i cant move my arms fast enough and i fade really bad.
Do my forearms burn at the end of a race because of lactic acid?If so, how do i prevent this from happening and what type of workouts should i do? btw, i'm a hs freshman
