I've been very serious about going to Kenya through December to Early Jan for XC (I'm from the UK) for a near enough 3 months but due to this Ebola outbreak, I'm unsure whether its a good idea or not? I need to finalise all the bookings etc ASAP.
Any advice from those who have been?!?
Look at the map of Africa and see where Kenya is and where the ebola outbreak is. You are more likely to get ebola from the UK and Europe than in kenya due to travel points.
I don't believe that Ebola is your prime concern...the lack of rule of law in Kenya is much more disturbing. On the other hand, there is a good chance you'll face a 3 week quarentine on your return...make sure that fits your schedule.
Lack of rule of law? Go there break the law and you will realize you are wrong.

Seriously bro?
There is no Ebola outbreak in East Africa right now but we do have five or so cases in the U. S. of A.
If you are scared of travelling ot Ebola hit areas, Dallas and Washington DC are more risk prone areas than Kenya.
I am just stating a fact.
