Max v. The Big Cheese, who takes it? Or could we see Futsam, Theroux, Nelson, Saarel, or Jenkins spoil the party?

Are you kidding?
I love Max, and he looks great, but nobody's beating Ches, unless he's sick or something.
Max was all-out yesterday.
Ches was jogging. Drifting around the course, herding his teammates, adjusting his uniform, running interference for Jenkins.
I'm surprised we didn't see him checking his phone for messages, or distributing water-bottles to the rest of the Ducks.
If he needed to be 10, or 15, or 30 seconds faster to win the race, he would've done it.
No problem.

It's no stretch to say that, Ches certainly is favorite but with a quick, true tough cross country race it could turn into a race. Who would have thought that Kithuka would lose last year?
Ches by 30 to 45 seconds, easily, unless another African emerges from the woodwork.
Thats not really how Ches will win a race. He certainly could try and outrun everyone in the field, but that isn't the smartest way to race and probably not the way he will. He'll probably just float around top 10 and top 5 and wait for someone else to make a move. He'll hunt them down and take the lead with 1K to go and then win by like 10 seconds. If he goes out and tries to win from the gun, it leaves him more vulnerable to blowing up and not winning.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
