Running Tights

Most people go straight nut nude under tights.

Don't be a poser... don't wear compression shorts under shorts. Man up and do one or the other. Compression under shorts are for men who have tiny nuts and can't keep them warm with body heat.

So women wear underwear under tights and men go commando?

When I used to live near the Great Lakes I wore an old pair of my wife's pantyhose under my sporthills in the winter. I went on to sire several children so I guess it didn't make me gay.

Run in tights only. No shorts over. Show the ladies what you got Dont forget to smile.

I've always run with a light pair of running shorts UNDER the tights. I have two pair of Scott Tinley (two-time Hawaii Ironman Triathlon winner) tights. They aren't shiny or tacky. I've had them for a good 20 years, and they're still in great shape despite probably at least 1000 miles on them. Running shorts under them look just fine. It's not a fashion shoe, but rather all about function. While it does look pretty stupid to wear shorts over the tights, and you have some light short lines under the tights, I like to keep the boys secured better while avoiding the stupid high school wrestler look--nothing against wrestlers because they have all my respect for a tough, exhausting sport.

I am a serious runner its just that I prefer the near bare look and the exposure gets me phone numbers its like advertising your wares in public I really do get offers they can see my junk and obvioulsy see I am aroused and it turns them on .guys or gals I love it all.

Honestly, some nice boxer briefs. I got some nice adidas ones at TJ Maxx that work well. I also wear those thin half tights (I think they call them compression underwear...i don't know) that they sell at Walmart for like $5

I wear LONG tights under my SHORT tights. Of course I always wear my nylon tricot split BR running shorts over both.

Used to get a few odd looks from the people running on the treadmill beside me but I could never hear what they were saying as the music was too loud on my headphones.

I always wear compression shorts under my tights. When it drops much under 20 (we get quite a few single digit and below zero days where I live), I wear wind proof tights. I might get some windproof compression shorts this year for those borderline days (15-25 or so).

In general, if it isn't too windy, the protection of two layers of compression plus the fact that they keep everything up close to your body where it's warm is sufficient on all but the coldest days.

I often have 2 pairs of gloves (or gloves + mittens) on really cold days, and if my man parts are doing badly, I'll put a glove there for extra protection and then use my sleeves to cover my hands. I've gotten better at dressing for the cold, though, so that's not often an issue.

Also, I find regular running shorts under tights extremely uncomfortable. I've tried it a few times and I always have to adjust and end up chafing. I ended up just buying some black half tights which I can also wear alone when it warms up a bit.
