I have my window open ready to scream. Come on....
10th place, 1:30 back... solid race Alan.. was in a 4 way tie for 10th on lap 3, and dropped the other 3 to get 10th. for perspective, Webb has beaten multiple top 100 ranked men in the world today.
Americans with a monster day in the top 10

Remember when he was #1 in the world?
They saw his name "Webb" on his tri suit and thought, oh crap, I think he's gonna out kick us... wonder what his split was?
This is only his 2nd full olympic distance draft-legal tri. amazing. will fire up his winter training for sure and should get USAT to submit him for a WTS race next year where the big ranking points are..
this race will boost his rank nicely too. he is in the game for 2016.. but lots of americans to beat
WEBB IS BACK BABY!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously: what are the odds of Webb making the tria team for Rio? Has he legit chances?
Rio... he is essentially getting fast tracked, both by this finish and buy USAT. if he can get his ranking into, I think top 125 in the world, at the time of Olympic trials (spring of 2016??) he can make it. USA probably will have 3 spots for the team. its not fixed. it depends on the strength of each country. some countries only get 1 or 2 entrants for the oly games. USA had 3 spots for 2012. so webb just has to get his ranking up, whioch he should be able to, then outrace the other americans at oly trials... he is on his way
2015 webb will be chasing points around the world to boost his rank. hopefully on the wts circuit
take all the track athletes at a IAAF int. meet. combine all events, and put them in the same race. say the 800.. now imagine webb got 10th. get it?
