No idea who's gonna win. Rooting for the Giants.

Giants in 5. I'm a cards fan, and nobody knows better than us how competitive the giants are. here're some of the reasons why they'll win:

1) Bochy >>> Yost. For the record, Bochy >>>>>>>>> Matheny.

2) Giants lineup is much more battle-tested to this point in the postseason.

Starting pitchers faced by the giants: 1) Volquez, 2) Strasburg, 3) Zimmerman, 4) Fister, 5) Gonzalez, 6)Wainwright (twice), 7) Lynn, 8) Lackey, 9) Miller.

Starting pitchers faced by the royals: 1) Lester, 2)Jered "shell of his former self" Weaver, 3) CJ "shell of his former self" Wilson, 4) Shoemaker, 5) Tillman, 6) Norris, 7) Chen, 8) Miguel Gonzalez.

3)Giants have a legitimate ace in Madison Bumgarner. royals have james "medium game" shields.

4)Giants almost never f*ck up and get all the bounces. it's not luck. it just is. it's like some sort of karmic reward for never straying from fundamental baseball.

That would be epic. And as a Phillies fan, I have to find something exciting.

Besides. San Fran has gotten enough championships in the last 4 years.

Against any other NL team I'd go for the Royals because it's nice to see a team end a drought. But my Giants are in so, yea Go Giants!

Some pretty good back and forth in this series. Thought KC might roll after winning game 3, but Los Gigantes came back to take games 4 and 5. Bumgarner was HUGE throwing a shutout tonight.

But now back to KC. Do the Giants have one more fluke win in them, or will the home cooking do KC right? Think Giants need to take game 6 if they hope to win.

Madison Bumgarner has been incredible. It'll be interesting to see who takes the MVP if the Giants win. Bumgarner and Pence both deserve it after 5 games. Sandoval has been a stud too, but he's definitely behind Bumgarner and Pence in the running.

If we get to a seventh game, all pitchers are available, even Bumgarner for an out or an inning.

SF got runs off of Herrera and Davis.

Even though the Royals weren't protecting a lead it may be a psychological boost to the Giants that they did that.

It's gotta go 7.

Then someone will win unconventionally in the 7th game.

Yes. About 10 million times as many as watch track.

Royals in a laugher in Game 6. Looking more like 2002 than 2010/2012 for the Giants. Giants are donesky.

My call for tonight:

Close game through 6 innings.

Royals take a one run lead into the 7th to set up their three headed monster for the last three innings.

But the Giants get a run off of each of them and win buy one or two runs.

Lincecum will get in at some point and get credited for the win.

Hunter Pence will either score the game winning run or knock in the game winning run and be named series MVP.

And there will be a wild pitch or botched defensive play somewhere that has an effect on the game.

The losing manager will be criticized for a questionable decision.
