But Hasay has been a pro training under the NOP. For that reason, does it not make the Sisson performance comparison quite interesting?

I think to POW had more to do with expectations. The Dallas Cowboys was listed by ESPN as the team of the week, if the Seahawks had beat Cowboys, they would not have been the team of the week.
They didn't just call it the Performance of the Week. They called it the Performance of the Week that Few Noticed.
