During a workout of 800s a month ago I kept struggling to hit my splits so I got pissed and ran an all out 200 to really rattle my self. Stupid, I know. I came off that workout with something pulled in my left hamstring. The pain subsided with rest, but flares after every easy run.
What really aggrevates it is straightening the foot while lying and the classical skating motion. I'm thinking it's an inflamed hamstring tendon, but I'm not a doctor.
I'm on my second week of rest now, went on a couple of easy runs this weekend and it flared up slightly, but only so I could feel it was still there. Since sunday I haven't moved and I now can't feel it at all, only a slight burning in my buttocks..
I'm starting to talk myself into going for a run to test the waters but I don't trust myself.. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
TL;DR pain in my hammy, pain free for a couple of runs, to soon to go out running?
