Would jumping jack's what be good? Please clarify.
I am an old guy who sits all day and have IT band problems. Jumping jacks really seem to help my glutius medius muscles fire properly.
Jumping Jack is in core workout?
Good exercise for the first step in a progression, or in comeback after injury.
Sets of JJs with, single, double leg hops, side shuffles for a few weeks, --> box jumps, standing long jump, "skiers", squat jumps --> same plyos with weights
Jumping jacks . Split jacks. Burpee jumping jacks. Split jumps. Alternating split jumps. Split jumps on a box. Alternating split jumps on a box. Lateral split jumps. Lateral split jumps on a box... ......and my all time favorite: burpee box jump depth jump pullups.
Jumping jacks are a good start point but be careful on the speed as vigorous countless reps of overhead clapping can lead to shoulder impingment and other issues...that's why you see the half jack in the army now.
