I'm historically a 5k/8k type guy (15:50/26:09) and am now trying my hand at the ol' long haul.
I'd like to run sub 2:50 or around 6:30 pace.
It's 5 weeks out and I've built up to two weeks over 50 with 15 mile long runs.
Is it crazy to run an 18 miler this week and then jump to a 22 miler 3 weeks out.
In the process of trying to get back into good shape I've realized that I don't especially know what I'm doing when it comes to marathon training (at least the end of it).
