Hey guys,
Im a sophomore running for about 2.5 years now. My 5k best is 16:45 but that was over the summer doing heavy training and at running camp. Now, I am running low 18's but want to break 16:30. My coach thought that I overtrained during the summer so he cut down my mileage and had me run workouts more easily. This only made my situation worse because I got worse and went from the #1 guy to the #5 guy now to the #8 guy. I want to run D1 and have a passion for running. My coach hates running but likes winning. He won't help me anymore and said that I should just run and see what happens. What should I do? Im starting to hate running because I feel like im not improving and getting worse. Please help!
Btw im getting checked for anemia or any other health related issues next week. Please give me information not regarding those.
