Cross Country or Track?
There was just a thread on this. Their top guy transfered out. Apparently the coach is really good, but the training environment and facilities are not the best.
Bumping this thread after seeing some past results, and digging deep on tfrrs. How are these guys progressing so quickly? Incredible drops in time from a lot of the male athletes. What is the coach like?
Training is mostly aerobic based, he puts you in to mileage from the beginning, nothing crazy but substantial (60-80/wk) regardless of what you've done in the past.
Regardless of how you do, he's always looking to bring in better runners to help the program. Keep to his program and keep your head down and you'll be good.
He does like drama and it has followed him for sometime for what it is worth...
Guys run good and they've done well. Surprised that the coach has not moved on by now. Had some thing where he was accused of harassing one of the girls on the team a while ago. You can google his name and 'harassment text message'.
Think it was settled in court, but wonder is this sort of stuff that has prevented him from moving on?
