Some Nike splits and adidas adios and I am good to go for any training run or race. Spikes are a toss up

Is this really the kind of thing you spend your time thinking about?
It could be worse
I used to never ever wear Nike shoes. But in the last year the flyknit lunar 1+ became my go to easy/long day shoe. Also, I used Nike flyknit victory's for track and liked them, too. But the best shoe I've worn is the NB 1400v2. That shoe is perfect. I use it for track workouts, tempo, and longer races. I've debated making it my main training shoe for easy/long runs but decided against it b/c it isn't quite cushioned enough for me. But if i had to pick just one shoe to train and race all distances in - it would be the NB 1400v2
Disagree. Saucony makes some awesome shoes, and now that the Hoka Clifton is out I can't ignore them anymore, either.
I, for one, have always used Brooks (primarily the Glycerin line) for trainers. Never once have I wanted to permanently run in an adidas trainer I tried on.
As long as we can agree that razor blades make the most delicious food and hydrochloric acid makes the best beverage.
Gotta disagree on that.. Under Armour makes the best running apparel.
I do like the UA clothing much more than Nike. Nike is cheaply made crap. And I prefer Mizuno shoes over Adidas any day. But Adidas makes some decent clothing (also better than Nike).

I think you mean most massively overpriced poser clothing.

Nice hiking clothes
Can we agree that people have individual preferences that are subjective, and equally valid?
I 100% agree with the OP
Except I would like a better nike running jacket

where did you get flyknit victories?
Nike Streak lt has been and still is the best running shoe. Its been the best shoe way back since the streak xc 1.
No, we can't agree.

"Best running shoes" = important.
"Best running apparel" = meaningless, trivial.

In the words of Kenenisa Bekele, I prefer to wear "The yellow ones... No, the black ones."
They're just shoes. And as far as apparel, I wear a pair of running shorts and throw on a cheap tshirt if it gets cooler than 60 degrees.
