With the new marathon record that, rightly said, was 'smashed' this weekend over in the Berlin marathon, could you possibly attribute some of what happened to the shoes that Kimetto was wearing. I'm sure I'll catch some flak for this, but please, hear me out.
The new Adidas boost shoes are quite new to the market, and from what I've heard and seen, they've been very successful amongst people that wear them. Kimetto was wearing these shoes when he ran the 2014 edition of the Berlin marathon, and a man that few people even knew existed came out and just smashed the WR while wearing these 'boost' enabled shoes. Not to mention the pacemakers who were wearing them as well as his main competition in the race - Mutai.
So what do you think? Possibly adidas BOOST shoes really are "an energy drink for your feet?"
Thoughts?
