Anyone else tired of jeans?
Anyone else tired of jeans?
NO. Shut the hell up.
Jeans are the most uncomfortable piece of legwear. Suit trousers for me every day.
Those 40+ blokes in stonewashed jeans look like tools.
Pajamas
Exactly. A good quality suit is more comfortable. I'm actually tired of casual attire every day.
In the tech industry, people look down on you if you wear a suit. They think you are compensating. That's the problem.
I'd prefer to wear a suit, but can't! I'd get laughed at or they'd think I was interviewing with other companies and get fired!

I am tired of the fohawk feminist hipsters in the field. You will never win over the financial strength of enterprises wearing jeans, hoodies and those nerd-like glasses.
I think it's cool to wear a nice designer shirt and comfortable pair of jeans to work sometimes in the middle of a development sprint. But typically I like a long sleeve polo button up (Polo, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Roberts Platinum, Lucky, etc) and loose fitting office style khakis when presenting.
Clean wool suit and a nice pair of shoes. Those were the days. Now everyone dresses like slobs.
gtfo. I'd rather show up in my shorts and flip flops to the office.

Agree. A proper suit is the only thing worthy of being paired with a $500 Fendi Belt . And wearing a $500 Fendi Belt is a way of life, simply nonnegotiable.
dude that's one of the things that got me to go into engineering ... don't have to cut your hair and ya don't have to wear a f'ing suit. Get your azz to marketing where you belong.

You mad bro?
The customer shows up in a suit. Meet him half-way and wear a proper pair of pants and a proper shirt.
Do you WANT to slave away in teh cubicle farm or make real cash talking to the customer.

Just wear your shorts over your pants and you'll get away with it.
Probably different for me since I work in a factory setting, but I typiccaly go with casual khakis and a button up. T shirts if it is hot downstairs, but I do like to wear suits on special occasions. I feel like wearing one everyday would be a bother and would diminish the elegancy of the suit.

IF the customer were to show up in a suit, then yes, you could dress as you say, but that rarely happens. People who are competently skilled don't need to worry as much about their image as the people on here calling for suits to come back.

That's almost worse than jeans...
yes, bring back suits. absolutely!
Suits are a ridiculous and antique form of non-functional clothing. They are akin to the frilly shirts and pantaloons and powdered wigs worn by aristocrats of old. They are a statement that you are rich enough to be a sissy la la who sits around all day doing nothing physical at all.
People used to do hard labor in suits. Silly.
Pleated plants and a double-breasted suit should be minimum.
