55 Y.O. male. Previous marathon was 5 years ago, 2:48. in Boston. This will be marathon #27 for me. PB 2:28 twenty seven years ago.
Currently slowing, but getting in about 50 mpw during June, July,August, Increasing to 60 mpw for September, and planning on 70 mpw in October for first 2 weeks, and then back to 50 mpw, with some rest days the last week and taper.
Recent races - 1:21 half m. 37:22 10k, within 8 months of this post.
I'm not sure if I should plan on going out in 7's, and then maybe slightly increasing around 15 if I feel good, or to just try to stay around 6:50's.
