Just tested my all-out 200 speed and was kinda disappointed because I'm trying to focus on the 800 and know that good sprint speed is a must. I saw a Flotrack workout video where a female 800 runner did 8 x 200 in trainers and did 24.5 for the last rep. I can do her same workout minus the fast last lap, and apparently I can't even do her last lap on fresh legs. Can I improve my 200 speed or is it all natural ability?
