Do any of you guys have favorites? Personal experience. Something American or Japanese? Or maybe one of the German heavy hitters. I want to show up to a race in a car that shouts "I'm better than you" and then try to beat the fastest girl.

Audi RS7 or Mercedes CL63 AMG would be my choices.
You want a sports car. A luxury sedan shouts "I'm fifty and retired earlier than you."
Maybach.
Bentley Mulsanne. 505 hp, dude.

And an expensive sports car say "I'm going thru a mid-life crisis and hopefully you won't notice my pot belly and comb over"
BMW or Audi.
Mercedes S65 amg, or Maserati Quattreporte
Tesla. Seriously. It is pretty amazing. Every big corporate exec guy I know wants one so bad they are almost crying.
I just wanna drive wrote:

Ok, the GEO metro convertible is a real eye catcher. It's gotta be the best.
I've driven a BMW 550i x-drive some and it's plenty fast with a Twin Turbo V8, but looks nice and professional. I seem to recall it's around $70k which seemed like a steal for the package and performance.
Which ever one you pick it must have soft Corinthian leather or it does not say luxury to me.
BMW is nice. I would encourage you to test drive the new Volvo S60 as well.
Acura or Infiniti. Or just get a Subaru lesbian mobile & that'll really scare the fastest girl you're trying to beat.
Audi Q5
Saab aero

This. How bada$$ is that trident on the front of the grill? You see those Beemer tags everywhere. Get something that stands out.
I have owned, me not the bank, a 2002 BMW 530i(purchased in 2004), a 2011 Cadillac CTS (purchased in 2012), and a 2013 Audi Q5 (purchase in the spring of 2014). All were great cars and perfect for me at the time. I still have the BMW and the Audi.
