I'm talking about supervising the workout.
I explain the workout, answer questions, then hang the clipboard with times on the fence. Then they do it. Kids with similar times form small groups,but some choose to run alone.
I keep watches on them and check splits as they complete it.
The other option is to put the whole team on the line and run it together under one watch, I call out splits, etc.
How do other coaches manage track workouts and why do you do it that way?
