Anyone here have any experience with TRX training and did find it beneficial to include in your running program?
I was introduced to it when I was rehabbing my shoulder. I continue to use it and like how it works the core without wasting time the way isolated core training does. It will help your posture, it won't make you sore, and it will improve strength. It won't hurt your running but I don't know if any specific strength program or exercise really helps running.
how does the good old fashioned push up rate for training the core
It's OKAY, but because of the multi-planar design of the TRX it actually stimulates the core more. Even TRX pushups will be better for the core than regular ones, albiet much harder as well.
