Does anybody have some good information or anecdotal input on training in a fasted state? I only train out of convenience on a fasted state. If I do a long run in the morning, I have some water before hand. If it is a race, just water but not as much. Whatever it is.
It should be noted that when I began doing this I was really hungry and sluggish but now after a year or so of training like this my hunger is absolutely gone and I am racing and improving better than ever. Possibly because I am using fat mainly instead of carbohydrates?
If I train twice a day, I wake up and run then eat then I won't eat until 10-12 hours later after my second run to train on a fasted state again. Sounds insane but I am running really well
