Feel isn't real. It might just feel easier because it is what your used to. Do something your unused to and even if it is more efficient, it might feel harder because your stressing your muscles slightly differently.
That being said this sounds like a junk product. There a lot of products out there (either announced or shipping) but it isn't clear what is useful yet. Personally I like the sounds of

There is also another company that makes a pair of shorts which measure muscle tension in the quads and hamstrings. Some day someone will put together some app that helps you modify your technique (i.e. beeps if your over striding, have you CG in the wrong spot when you land,.....) but I don't think we are there yet.
