I had a blood test and revealed positive antibodies for the acute mono infection. Basically been sick since 1st week of Sept - I went from 75mpw in late august to pretty much 0mpw for the last 3 weeks . Symptoms started as a fever of 99-100 with chills and night sweats for 10-12 days straight, followed by a one-sided (right side) inflammation of my tonsil and enlarged lymph node on the right side of my neck, and just generally feeling like garbage everyday. The fever and chills have been entirely gone for the past 1.5 weeks, the throat thing isn't bothersome at all and the right tonsil is only slightly enlarged compared to the left (have been taking antibiotic of clindamycin for this), and so pretty much all I've got left now is headache and some pretty serious fatigue. People who know me well say I look tired all the time. Is there any advice you have for anyone who has been through mono? I will probably be out running for quite awhile which is fine but just trying to do the best I can to rest and get through. Thanks
