Does anyone adjust their sleep schedule the week(s) leading up to an early race like a marathon? Running in the morning is way worse for me so I typically run after work, but I'm wondering if it would help if I started going to bed and waking up early in the week leading up to the marathon.
I know a lot of people wake up between 4 and 5 to do major marathons - does it make any difference if I've been waking up that early 6 days in a row before that?
