I saw many posts from individuals who had surgery to repair ruptured hamstrings. I would like to know how you are doing since you have recovered. I completely ruptured my proximal hamstring last October. It took more than a year to get it correctly diagnosed and I am facing surgery with an allograft to repair it since my rupture is 9.5 cm and they don't have enough of my own hamstring anymore to reattach it. I am able to walk, climb stairs, but not a whole lot of anything else. I have searched and searched on the web to see how people are doing a year or two out from surgery and can't find anything. I have also searched for information about how NOT repairing it could affect my life. Nothing. Your comments/wisdom/experiences are greatly appreciated.
