That's what the justice system is for.
Goodell will never leave. Give up $40+ million a year? Never! He will hang on as long as possible. Make as much money as possible. Then he will leave under extreme duress.

Lol this. Come on, eHarmony. Try harder.
No!
It's not his job to do something about it until it starts to publicly affect the nfl, and that's when he did something. He has no moral responsibility to act before it affects his image or the NFL's.
The nfl has a LOT of thugs and criminals, he's not their dad and can't rule their personal lives.
Goodell should not be fired, he simply was imposing the traditional punishment for a first time offender based upon the evidence he was presented with at the time (By the way, what did you think the tape would show, him tickling her?). Rice's suspension will be overturned on appeal by the players union as the more severe punishment will be deemed inconsistent with prior punishments (similar to how the eigth amendment of the constitution protects us from unusual / arbitrary punishments). I think going forward, punishments for players will be more severe (with the consent of the union). Ironically, the players want to see him out because he has been too harsh with his punishments. Players complain every time they are hit with a fine for head hunting and appeal those punishments, and yet at the same time they successfully sue for billions of dollars for head injuries. If there is anyone you should be mad at, it is the players union, that will get all of the currently suspended players back out there from their paid vacations.

All suspended players are forfeiting their salary for the duration of their suspensions. A very few, namely Peterson and Hardy, are on exempt lists and are getting paid, but they are not currently suspended.
You are an ANTI-SEMITE who hates Arab Muslims, Jews, and non-practicing descendants of Russian Jews.
Nobody is putting him on the same level as Rice.
"who hates Arab Muslims"
-correct. cockroaches of the world.
The owners owe Goodell *everything* for his successful cover-up the Patriots' cheating in superbowls, which would have destroyed the sport. Do you really think he or the owners care at all about the stuff that's going on now?

Goodell doesn't have the authority to put Rice or any NFL felon in prison. That was up to the NJ justice system which failed in the Rice case. Why do they not receive criticism? Instead everyone just piles on Goodell even though it's not his job to sentence felons.
