That's funny. I recently tried out the A6 and Hyperspeed 6 and went with the Hyperspeed because I felt the A6 was too firm. I feel like the Hyperspeed has fairly soft cushioning for such a lightweight flat. It's a perfect half shoe in my opinion.
I agree the Streak LT2 is too soft. Loved the streak LT and heard xC versions were great as well.
All time favorite road flat though is the A5. Only quibble with it is durability. They start to rip on the sides after about 150 miles. Maybe the A6 is better.
I would also say the Hyperspeeds aren't very firm. Even my Piranhas have a bit of cushion to them.
The A series, though I've never worn it, does seem quite firm and actually the A4/A5 (especially the A5) seem a better blend of shoe than the A6. Just an opinion.
The Streak XC / LT series is rather soft admittedly and that does not make it a great XC shoe (hence the switch to the Lightweight Trainer [LT] title), but it is great for really any sort of training or 5K+ road racing.
My three or four cents.
