I a not a cyclist in terms of competition, but I do ride my bike a lot. Mainly just for fun. I live in an old neighborhood with quiet streets and we will often ride beach cruisers to friends houses, etc.
Anyway, I am a runner and I have a lot of friends who are cyclists. These friends are always posting about their cyclist vs. car feuds on Facebook and Twitter. Lately, though, I have seen a lot of cyclist vs. runner hate popping up. I have even noticed it from some local reporters who are in support of cycling over driving. Shaming runners/walkers who wear earbuds, etc.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that from a marketing perspective, it doesn't look very good for cyclists to make enemies of both cars and pedestrians. I want cyclists to have more rights, but if you are acting like dicks to drivers and walkers/runners, you are going to find yourself isolated.
